Alpha, Beta, & Rollover FAQ

Alpha, Beta, & Rollover FAQ:

  • Q: Where can I apply to be an Alpha Tester?
A: You can fill out an Alpha application Here.

  • Q: When will Beta be?
A: At this time, Beta is slated to be open October 19th, 2024.

  • Q: What Does X item/collection Rollover?
A: The only items and currency that will rollover are mentioned on the Rollover page at the bottom of every page on Santae. You can find a detailed list and images of all the items that will follow your account into Beta Here.

  • Q: If I used my Divine Figurine on a pet, will I still get it back after Rollover?
A: Yes! As long as the pet hasn’t been transformed into a different species with another figurine, the original figurine you used will be reissued to your account. For example, if you used a Divine Blepp figurine on your pet, and then you changed the Blepp into a Nochturn using another Divine figurine, then you will not receive a Divine Blepp figurine during Beta. However, staff do allow a one-time courtesy pet species change; simply submit a support ticket and they will be able to assist you.

  • Q: If I already used Adoption Papers to increase my pet count, will they still get reissued to me in Beta?
A: Yes, your account will keep any extra pet slots added during Alpha. If you have any unused Pet Adoption Papers, they will be re-issued to your account.

  • Q: Will sP/sD Rollover?
A: No, sP and sD will not rollover into Beta! However, unused jars of SanDust will be re-issued to your account.

A: You can take a look at all the information for our current Referral Contest and a UI for keeping track of your referrals should be out before the end of the week.

  • Q: Will pet names be unique in Beta?
A: No, unique names are only required in Alpha. However, your pet names will not be unique in Beta. During Beta, if your pet is the first one to use a particular name, your pet will be marked with a First Edition tag on their profile and an icon on the pet itself, showcasing it as being the First Edition!

  • Q: Am I allowed to share an IP address with another player?
A: Yes, you can share an IP address with another player, such as a parent, sibling, or a friend. However, all accounts are reviewed and verified to ensure they are not multi-accounts. Then, simply select them from their respective dropdowns, and enjoy your new goopy friend!

  • Q: Where can I get Gathering/Fishing Items, and what do they do?
A: You can get Gathering items, such as Baskets and Pouches from Netty at Tangle & Tote. Baskets can be used at the Berry Tree and you can increase the amount of berries picked with different types of baskets, you can also buy Fertilizer, which lowers the berry regrowth cycle by a certain percentage based on the rarity of the fertilizer, and the amount of time left in the cycle. Pouches can be used while Gathering and you can increase the amount of items gathered with different types of pouches. You can also get Fishing Rods for Fishing Spots from Finn at Cast & Catch.
