Skylar Needs Your Help with Research!

Vespera and the adventurers journeyed through the Harmonic Heartwoods and with the help of River, Dew and Henrietta, the team discovered the Ancient Grove! Vespera found the ancient oak trees that seemed to reach even higher than they were described in the tales told by the elders.

Do these peculiar mushrooms that are appearing in each gathering location have something to do with the Goopper minimals that are also appearing?

Skylar Fieldstone, our resident Field Expert and Researcher, has been tirelessly studying the mysterious origin of the Gooppers. After analyzing the Celestial Toadstools found in every gathering location, Skylar believes these gathering items could hold the key to locating the source of the Gooppers. A breakthrough in their research could lead us to uncover the origin of these mysterious creatures!

Skyler's hypothesis is simple yet profound: the Gooppers leave behind traces wherever they go. By studying these traces left by the Gooppers, a pattern has emerged. If followed, the pattern should lead directly to the source of the Gooppers. The gathering items scattered through the lands could hold more information than previously thought, and could be the key to unlocking the Gooppers origins and secrets!

Skylar is calling upon all adventurers to assist in a critical mission and is asking that each adventurer gather items from each of the gathering locations. Skylar is particularly interested in the items from each gathering location that is appearing alongside the Gooppers. Bring these items to Skylar to aid in their research -- your contributions could be the key to solving one of the greatest current mysteries of Santae!

Community Event: Gathering Gooppers and Toadstools!

Head over to the Gathering Bounty quest and collect the items that Skylar Fieldstone requests. The number of items that you provide them with will advance their research. Together, we can uncover the origin of the Gooppers and any secrets they may hold!

As a thank you, Skylar will award a Gooppers Galore Trophy to every adventurer that assists with this research project when it is all over!

Grab your adventuring crew, get to gathering, and finish some quests to help unlock the secrets and origins of the Goopper along with other Santae adventurers!

At the end of Alpha Testing, we will be resetting all member accounts, excluding the items outlined in our Rollover Policy. No need to worry as we have an extensive logging system to record any items outlined in the Rollover Policy that will be reissued during our Beta Phase. During Alpha, our cash shop will be 50% off (excluding sC and promotional items) as a token of our gratitude and for your contributions to Santae during our Alpha Testing Phase. We gently remind you to please take a moment to review our Alpha Tester Rollover Policy. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask either on the forums or on Discord. Getting Acquainted With Santae

We carefully hand selected you to be an Alpha Tester to provide invaluable, unbiased feedback which will aid in the games future development. On that note, we ask all testers to remember that this is just the beginning of our journey to Official Launch, and we are thrilled to have you as valued Alpha Testers! Please bear in mind that the game may have bugs and/or glitches, and we are counting on you to report these. We strongly encourage you to do your best to seek any bugs, glitches or errors out and report them to staff promptly, as this will be very valuable in preparing us for our Beta Phase and Beyond!

We invite you to familiarize yourself with our Terms and Conditions, which apply to all members and staff. We greatly appreciate your efforts in identifying and reporting any glitches, bugs, or errors you encounter. Your feedback is invaluable to us as it helps improve the overall experience for everyone. Thank you for your contributions and understanding during this phase of development.

Bugs/Glitches & Error's

As expected, there may be some bumps along the way, but that's part of the development process and where you all are our biggest asset. Here's some helpful information on how and where to report any issues you encounter:

• Bugs/Glitches: These are functionality issues like being able to play a game an unlimited amount of times without a cooldown timer, or if you're doing a quest and cannot turn an item in for any reason. Being able to create more pets than the current limit (which is 8, though it may increase with a certain item...) or being able to read a book to another player's pet.

• Errors: These are messages like "Error, Please contact an Administrator!" "500 Server error," or "404 this page does not exist," as well as broken images, spelling mistakes, and aesthetic issues like images stretching/spilling off the page.

Thank you all for helping us improve by reporting any of these issues you may find.

How to Report + Find Out What Has Already Been Reported

Our Forums are the best place to make + view already reported matters - Please refer to our Bugs, Glitches & Errors Subforums when making a report - be sure to do your best to put them into the appropriate locations, our wonderful staff can help guide you to the correct location as well.

We ask that if the site needs to be shut down at any point for immediate/emergency maintenance that all alpha testers please try to stay calm and patient while we work through the issues, and do our best to get the site back up as soon as possible. Please note that Major Issues will be reported to all users via our Notification System + communicated effectively on our Discord Server.

The Ancient Grove (Thank You Chests Sent)

Adventure Continues…

Vespera and her crew made their way through the thick brush that covered the forest floor slowly, taking care not to harm or disturb the vegetation and wild life. The details contained within the stories that the elders told changed depending on the person telling it, but one detail remained the same: a winding river made its way through the center of the grove. Some tellings also mentioned a particular mystical rune that allegedly grew throughout the grove...

This was the third river that they followed -- the others had led them to beautiful landscapes of lush greenery, but the signature tall oaks of the ancient grove were notably absent. Vespera could feel the crew becoming more and more discouraged with every passing hour but she had a strong feeling about this particular river.

In the distance, Vespera spotted a tall, dark formation. As they progressed, it became apparent that it was a wall of boulders and rocks. The groans and complaints grew as they approached the makeshift wall -- it was over fifteen feet tall and far too unstable to climb. The river, which roared with life up the path from where they came, trickled to a tiny stream under the pile of rock. Another dead end.

"Let's set up our temporary camp here. We will rest for a few hours before we make our way back. Get some food and water to refresh yourselves before the return journey," Vespera instructed. The crew complied and Vespera made herself busy helping out around camp and organizing the distribution of food.

A short while later, River and Dew appeared in a fury of bright feathers. They chirped and chattered incessantly and dropped an object at Vespera's feet.

Vespera looked down at the mushroom and paused, remembering the stories about the appearance of mushrooms at all the locations where the Gooppers have been appearing. "Take me to where you found these," she instructed River and Dew. The two happily obliged and took to the skies, diving and swooping with one another playfully.

The two led Vespera to a section of the wall about ten minutes from camp. As she stood studying the rock, she heard a chirp and saw a flash of flame about waist high -- Henrietta! The Phoehen hopped from behind a rock that had originally seemed flush to the rest of the wall. Vespera examined the stone and found a slit barely wide enough for her to slide through. She wiggled her way through and found that it opened to a tiny cavern just a few feet wide. In it, Vespera spotted a few more of the curious mushrooms that River and Dew had originally brought to her.

Henrietta chirped at Vespera again and pointed her to another slit in the rock on the other side of the cavern. Vespera fit herself into it and managed to wiggle a couple of feet. Suddenly, she found herself back in the open, and -- yes! Vespera found herself surrounded by ancient oaks that reached high into the sky. The canopy rang with life and the forest floor was littered with recognizable gathering items. The river remained to her left and came to life once again from under the rock, winding itself through the grove once again.

Vespera smiled at her companions, "You found it! Thank you so much for leading me to this place, we would have left without ever finding it if not for your adventurous spirit. Lets go back and get the rest of the crew."
