Explore Your Wild Side With The Revamped Wildbound Set
Clad in fur and armed with claws, an avatar wearing Wildbound clothing is well-equipped to face the challenges of the wilderness. We're thrilled to announce that this rugged set has received brand-new art to fit the updated Wardrobe and HA system!
Thanks to updates to the Wardrobe, two separate right and left glove items were no longer needed. The single Wildbound Glove item, when equipped, will now give your character both a left and right glove. In order to keep the same number of items in the full Wildbound set, we have added a brand-new animated item to replace the redundant glove item!
Introducing the Wildbound Spirit Wisps!
Equipping this item will summon a trio of spectral flames to float at your HA's side. These fully animated bright blue lights flicker and dance with spiritual energy. Will your HA harness their power?
Find the Wildbound Spirit Wisps -- and the rest of the revamped Wildbound items -- within the Wildbound Trove!

Mysterious Minimals Lurking In The Pass
Very little grew directly on the rocky spires surrounding Shadow Veil Pass, but small, shaded forests thrived in the valleys between the jagged mountains. Vespera was wandering along a trail that cut through one of these wooded groves, thinking hard about how to approach the puzzle of the NetherDust.
The glowing red Dust seemed like it was everywhere -- and nowhere. Under the light of the Nether Moon, it could be seen sparkling by night all over Shadow Veil Pass. But it was hard get close enough to get a good look, and almost impossible to imagine how one might actually capture and keep some of it.
By night, she could return to the Festival to discuss the matter with others -- but today, she was hoping to find some inspiration out in nature. Long walks always helped Vespera clear her head.
As she strolled through the deep shadows under the overarching branches of the trees, a burst of reddish light caught her attention. It looked like a swirl of sparks spiraling up through the air. Could that be NetherDust?
Vespera scurried deeper into the underbrush to get a better look, eyes glued to the spot where she saw the glow. But when she arrived, the sparkles were already fading away. Hot orange sparks were fading and raining down as cold white ash.
"That's odd," Vespera muttered to herself, kneeling to touch the small powdery heap of ash on the forest floor. But before she could make contact, it flared with new light!
She leapt back, narrowly dodging a burst of flame as a brilliant red bird Minimal appeared from the ashes and spread its wings with a sharp cry. It flapped its fiery wings, leaving a trail of light behind it as it soared up through the canopy and into the sky above.
Vespera watched it go, awed. "That's the last thing I expected to see when I came out looking for NetherDust," she remarked. "That has to have been Phenixis -- I thought it was a legend!" Ancient stories told of a powerful bird capable of regenerating itself from ash. It was a powerful omen. Vespera could only hope it was a promising one for her quest!
She walked on, reflecting on what she had seen. After a moment, she shivered. According to legend, Phenixis wasn't the only Minimal with a connection to life and death. The shadowy Necrosin was said to prowl wherever death had visited, waiting to usher souls to their rest. Hopefully the Phenixis' blaze wasn't enough to draw it near...the magical bird had regenerated, after all!
Nonetheless, she couldn't help but watch the shadows nervously as she moved through darker patches of the forest path. She certainly wasn't ready to meet any spirit guide -- there was too much left to discover in the world of Santae before even considering a world of spirits!
Vespera's mood improved as she neared the end of her planned trek, emerging into a part of the forest with taller trees that let thin beams of sunlight through to dapple the ground with spots.
She laid her hand against a tree's smooth trunk, then reached out to gently snap a twig away from one of its lower branches. A bead of red sap collected at the broken end, which Vespera delicately collected in a small vial. The bright sap of these trees wasn't known to have any particular magical qualities, but Vespera wanted to investigate it for unusual properties nonetheless. She wondered if its crimson color could be related to the phenomenon of the Nether Moon.
After collecting her samples, Vespera began to retrace her steps to head home -- but a strange noise from behind her stopped her in her tracks.
She looked over her shoulder and saw an unfamiliar creature emerge from the underbrush. The green, deerlike Minimal had leaves and blossoms draped from its antlers. It stepped delicately toward the tree whose branch she had broken. As Vespera watched, the Minimal pressed its nose against the tree's bark -- which began to glow!
Before her very eyes, the broken branch sprouted anew. In just a matter of moments, the tree's small wound was fully healed.
"It's Vitanis..." Vespera whispered, disbelieving. If she hadn't seen it with her own eyes, she might not have truly believed that this Minimal's legendary powers to restore vitality were true!
The Vitanis disappeared silently into the underbrush, vanishing as quickly as it first appeared.
Phenixis, Necrosin, and Vitanis are now available in the Cash Shop and SanDust Shop!
Restoring Ascendants Shrine
Ever since Vespera and Ripple's departure caused the Forgotten Cavern to vanish, Orion has continued his studies of the literature in Halo Haven's library. His hard work searching for clues about markings and symbols pertaining to the legend of the Quenaris has finally paid off. If his theory is correct, there is a way to reactivate the magic of Ascendants Shrine!
The inscriptions on this scroll contain the spark of energy you will need to restore Ascendants Shrine, regain the ability to place Quenaris Orbs there, and ultimately cause the Lair of the Quenaris to appear again. Copies of this mythical text are said to be found across Valaria and Aleriea -- but you will need to combine both the left and right halves to unlock its power.
Copies of this magical scroll could be hidden anywhere. Keep an eye out for anything that looks like the papers you need as you explore!
And if you are lucky enough to collect these magical inscriptions, make sure to bring them to Orion at the Shrine. With the papers' power and his expertise, you can restore the magic of Ascendants Shrine!

Quenaris Community Event Wrap Up
A big, warm thank you to the Santae community for pulling together to complete the Quenaris Community Event! We were thrilled to hear that many people enjoyed the event and are loving their new Quenaris pets and the newly released colors! Please rest assured that you will be able to obtain additional Quenaris pets going forward, and the feature will not be limited to only community events.
Without giving too much away while the details are still being ironed out, we are excited to let adventurers know that the Quenaris and Ascendant's Shrine feature will soon be made available on an individual/local level for each community member!
★ Each individual Adventurer will be able to activate their own Ascendants Shrine.
★ Once the shrine is activated, Quenaris Orbs will become acquirable and will start to drop from site features for the individual. Dragon minimals will also be activated for the individual and will start showing up as herding options.
★ Adventurers will be able to place one Quenaris orb on to the shrine at a time until all twelve have been collected.
★ Once all twelve Quenaris orbs have been placed on the shrine, the individual Adventurer will be able to access the Forgotten Cavern as a Fishing and Gathering spot.
★ Adventurers will be able to Explore Deeper into the Forgotten Cavern to release 12 Dragon Minimals in order for the Quenaris to appear.
★ Adventurers can chose a Shimmer Dust to sprinkle into the water to activate that color for the Quenaris and enter Taming Mode.
★ In Taming Mode, Adventurers will use their extra Quenaris Orbs to tame the Quenaris. There will be no time limit and no flee bar. Adventurers will be free to leave the feature and return to continue where they left off.
★ Once the tame bar is at 100%, Adventurers will be prompted to adopt the Quenaris (and input a name for their new pet) or to take a divine figurine.
★ Once the Quenaris is either adopted or converted to a figurine, the Ascendants Shrine will be reset and turned off. Orbs will stop dropping, Dragon minimals will disappear from herding, and the Forgotten Cavern will no longer be available for fishing/gathering until the Shrine is turned on again.
★ Any pet that was mid-fishing or mid-gathering at the Forgotten Cavern will be automatically returned to you along with the rewards that would be received at the end of the session.
★ Trophies will be awarded very soon, look out for the notification!
We hope that this answers most of the questions that we have been seeing from the community, and that everyone is excited for a chance to tame additional Quenaris pets for their adventure parties! Please note that this is the current plan for the Ascendants Shrine feature, which may be subjected to change as development is finalized. We appreciate everyone's understanding, patience and excitement meanwhile! We hope to make this feature available in the very near future.

The Journey To Shadow Veil Pass
It was a beautiful day for flying. River let out a joyful trill as she fluttered up into the sky over Halo Haven. Ripple, with Vespera riding on its back, was right behind. Vespera let out a whoop as the Quenaris shot into the air. Riding the legendary dragon was exciting!
They were on their way. Vespera patted Ripple's neck to get its attention, and then pointed toward home. "We're going back to Shadow Veil Pass," she called. "Do you know where that is? Follow River if you get lost."
Ripple tossed its head and twirled into an elegant turn that almost made Vespera lose her grip, changing its heading. "Woah!" Vespera laughed. "I'll need to get used to that."
Ripple wasn't flying in exactly the direction Vespera would have expected, but it was still generally the right way. After a little while, she realized that the Quenaris was riding currents of air high in the sky to direct its flight! The winds flowed like a river, propelling the trio along at an exhilarating pace.
Ripple rose and fell to catch the best prevailing winds, navigating the sky based on ancient instinct. At one point, its path took it low over a dry, sprawling plain outside of Sanctuary.
"Those plants look kind of strange," Vespera remarked as they swooped over a cluster of what looked like mossy boulders or logs. The clusters of leaves were speckled with unfamiliar white flowers.
Ripple dropped a little lower to get a better look. "Wait!" Vespera gasped. "Those aren't plants -- are they Rhymoss?!"
From this closer vantage point it was clear that the mysterious plants Vespera had spotted were growing on the backs of sturdy-looking creatures. Their strong shoulders were draped in greenery, and they had long faces tipped with sharp-looking branchlike nose horns.
Vespera had never seen creatures like this in the flesh before, but Rose had once shown her an illustration. The placid grazers were exceptionally rare, and nobody had seen one in nature for a long time. If they were truly returning to roam the plains of Santae in great numbers, this was an amazing discovery! Vespera will return as these would make great additions to her wares of magic and mystery!
Vespera had a smile on her face for the rest of the flight back to Shadow Veil Pass, buoyed by the sight of the rare Rhymoss. And her mood only continued to improve as the mountains slowly came into sight -- it would be good to get home!
River and Ripple angled upwards into the darkening sky to soar over the sharp mountains concealing Shadow Veil Pass. Vespera peered down over the Quenaris' shoulder, watching the ground beneath take on an eerie red glow as they traveled into the domain of the crimson Nether Moon.
Her valley home seemed so small from up here! The houses within Shadow Veil Pass looked like toy models, and it was almost impossible to make out the tiny shapes of festival-goers walking the streets from so high up. It was clear to see that the path through the center of town was the busiest portion. As Vespera and her companions descended toward the main path through the Pass in a shallow dive, they soared directly over the less-populated outskirts.
For a moment, Vespera thought she saw something moving near a long-abandoned tower in the furthest reaches of Shadow Veil Pass -- but they swept over it in an instant, too fast for a closer look. She looked behind her to try and spot it again, but whatever she thought she saw was gone. The tower stood as quiet as always, silhouetted against the round red moon rising over the horizon.
River led the way down to a space cleared for landing just in front of Vespera's Shop, and Ripple followed right behind. Vespera swung her leg over and dropped lightly down from Ripple's back, stretching gratefully after the long flight.
"We're home!" She said with a smile. Ripple examined the storefront closely, then stretched its neck up as high as it could reach, looking around in every direction.
Vespera smiled fondly at Ripple. "There's a lot to see, and I'm sure you're eager to explore. Let's go into town!"
Vespera and her companions strolled through the heart of Shadow Veil Pass. Ripple nosed at a round, orange festival lantern, making it sway back and forth and sending a shower of NetherDust scattering everywhere.
Vespera extended her hand, trying to catch one of the reddish sparkles -- but it faded away before she could get a grip on it. The air was sparkling with clouds of the mysterious Dust, but there was still no way to gather it or study it.
Now that she was back in the Pass, Vespera was determined: She would discover the secrets of the NetherDust before the festival was done!

Update on Drink Contest Winners!
Thank you all very much for your feedback after our announcement yesterday of the Drink Contest Winners! We understand that there was a lot of frustration over the fact that our Second Place winner's entry was not an actual drink when the rules and Staff stated otherwise. This was something that members of the Front End Team flagged but inadvertently fell through the cracks. We apologize for the confusion and disappointment that this caused. Seeing as this was an error on our part, we have decided to award additional prizes as follows:
First Place: Daisy
+ + +
Second Place: Oki and Clefairiel
+ or +
Third Place: Mimiru
+ +
Special Category Winners:
Most Creative: Oki and Clefairiel
+
Most Accurate: Daisy and Pidgey
+
Most Delicious: Daisy and impbunni
+
This solution seeks to recognize the beautiful works of art that community members have submitted without penalizing the previously announced winners for the Santae Team's oversight. Going forward, we will be implementing the following rules for any newly announced contests:
★ Contestants will be limited to one entry per person
★ First, Second and Third Place Overall Winners will be determined entirely separately from the various Ribbon Winners (6 unique winners).
★ We will do a better job of screening entries in the future to ensure that all entries being voted upon comply with our contest rules.
Thank you all again for your gracious feedback and providing us with the opportunity to make things right! We hope the community continues to have fun with these contests and create amazing works of art for everyone to enjoy.
